My first real paranormal experience was when I was about nine years old.  I was staying at my aunt's house in Orange County. The house was built in the late 1800's and the whole family told me the house had a ghost.  I thought they were just teasing me, but one night I actually saw what they were talking about. Everyone was asleep except for me and I heard this strange crying. The door to the room I was staying in was open enough for me to see into the hallway.  I saw this strange glow coming up the stairs and then saw a woman dressed in old fashioned clothes floating down the hall asking, Where is my baby?  Needless to say, I was wide awake and scared out of my wits.  She passed the door and apparently disappeared. (I was too scared to check). The next morning when I reported this to my family, no one laughed at me or argued.  They simply said, "Oh, that was just the ghost." Apparently this was a common occurence there.  Their family moved from this property years later and it became a law office. 

I have had my share of odd experiences in my own home, seen, heard and felt things on occasion which is why I became interested in ghosthunting. I really wanted to see if what I was experiencing could be documented and proven.
